Claire Craig
I took a First degree in Natural Sciences (Physics) at Newnham, and a PhD in numerical modelling of the Earth’s mantle (geophysics) at St John’s.
I am now Provost of Queen’s College Oxford, and have worked for many years on the interface of academia and policy, including 15 years as a senior civil servant, running the Government Office for Science and working in several other Whitehall departments. I also have NED experience on the governing bodies of universities, schools, a small business and an NGO.
I am happy to have career discussions online or by phone.
