Ros Given-Wilson
I studied Natural Sciences ( Biological) at Newnham, but changed to medicine in my last year and after clinical training at St Thomas Hospital specialised in radiology. I worked as a consultant radiologist, specialised in breast imaging and set up a breast screening unit. A variety of director roles led to appointment as Medical Director at a south London teaching hospital. This was my first board position.
Now I am semi-retired and combining part-time clinical work with non-executive and trustee roles in charity and healthcare sectors. I have learned along the way the importance of networks and mentors and how much difference positive feedback can make.
I am happy to discuss medical and portfolio careers.
