Lucy Jones
After reading English at Newnham (1990-3), I spent a number of years teaching abroad in a diverse range of contexts, from rural Botswana to urban Auckland, via a pupil referral unit in Southall, London and a number of state and private institutions around the UK. I am a passionate advocate of education as a driver of social mobility, something which I work hard to foster in my current role as Assistant Principal in charge of Sixth Form in a rural comprehensive in Devon.
I welcome all queries regarding education, literature and psychology, which I studied as a second degree (B.Sc. Hons.) alongside teaching.
