I qualified as a chartered accountant and spent 20 years in the profession, auditing and advising clients mainly in the financial sector. I then became a regional CFO for a global consumer goods company based in Singapore. After that, I was COO for the government's development bank putting money into young companies in very emerging economies to drive development. I now have a portfolio of non executive directorships of companies across a range of sectors including renewable energy, engineering and banking. I also mentor talented young women executives who want to progress to board level.
