Michelle Le Cheminant
I studied pre-clinical medicine at Newnham (2003 matriculation) before completing clinical studies at King’s College London.
I have recently re-located back to Guernsey to take up a post as Locum Consultant in Anaesthesia at the Medical Specialist Group LLP. My sub-specialist interests are paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia.
I am committed to improving anaesthesia safety worldwide. In 2017 I spent 6 months in Zambia as a Visiting Lecturer with the Zambia Anaesthesia Development Project. I am also a volunteer faculty anaesthetist with Orbis International. Recent projects with Orbis have included training doctors in China, Mongolia and Malawi.
I’m happy to offer advice on medical careers and developing world work. But also on balancing a chronic health condition with studies/career, an area in which I have considerable personal experience!
