Sarah Blomfield

I am a qualified lawyer and General Counsel, EMEA, at Evercore. Prior to joining Evercore in 2020, I spent almost 20 years at Rothschild & Co and became one of their first female Managing Directors. I started my legal career at Slaughter and May and Allen & Overy in London, including a period working in Asia. My career spans Legal and Compliance and now, as in-house General Counsel, I try my hand at anything ranging from cleaning contracts to multi million dollar deals.

I have an MA in History from Newnham (1990-93) and did my post-graduate Law qualifications at Nottingham Trent University. Outside of work, I love to go to the ballet and playing tennis (badly).

I am a mother to three daughters and it has not always been easy juggling work, family and “stuff”. I have many war stories to share and am always happy to provide help and advice on any aspect of a career in law or the City and assist with applications and CVs.
