Liz Hooley

 I have had a varied career in law, tax and business and have worked for a large global firm, a family business, and a local charity. For the last 15 years, I have been a practising solicitor working within a multi disciplinary practice based in Cambridge, providing tax, legal, accounting and financial planning services. As one of the initial consultants of the firm, I have been proud to see the practice grow in number and in turnover five times. As well as pursuing a career I also managed to raise two sons and so have had to deal with the issues of a working mother. I would be happy to talk about careers generally in law, tax and professional practice as well as well as trying to achieve a work life balance as a working mother.
