Karen Robinson

I am a practising barrister at QEB Hollis Whiteman chambers, specialising in criminal law and regulatory law. My current practice comprises work for both prosecution and defence, and in the last three years, I have worked almost exclusively in the areas of financial crime, defending in two of the highest profile fraud cases brought by the SFO (‘Barclays’ and ‘Serco’), and terrorism, prosecuting in cases in which allegations of terrorism are brought.

I have an MA in law from Newham College (1996 – 1999), and completed my post-graduate BVC qualification at Inns of Court School of Law. Outside of work, I am a season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur FC, and enjoy going to the theatre, and improving my cooking and baking skills.

I am happy to help with advice about a career at the Bar, a career in criminal or regulatory law, and can help with public speaking/advocacy more generally.
