Ruth Thompson
I studied pre-clinical medicine at Newnham (matriculating in 2003) before finishing clinical studies at King's College, London. I completed General Practice training in 2014 and since 2015 have worked as a Partner in a large GP surgery in Gloucestershire. I spend a lot of time working with children in care, including children asylum seekers. I am also heavily involved in training medical students from Bristol University.
I'm happy to offer advice on medical careers, specifically General Practice. In addition, I can offer support with managing a busy work load with family life as I have 1 young child and another on the way.
