I read Classics at Newnham and then did a B. Litt. in pre-Socratic philosophy at St Anne’s, Oxford.

I am a writer and editor of non-fiction, with eight published books, working on a ninth, for publication by Penguin Press - details at my rather oddly named website - www.nadfaslecturer.co.uk (I lecture on art and architecture for what is now The Arts Society). I also know a bit, through friends and relations, of the pros and cons of crowd-funding and self- publishing. I'd be perfectly happy to talk to anyone thinking of taking the plunge into this world.
