Rachel Hirst

My first degree was Geography, my MSc was in Ecology and Environmental Sciences and my PhD was in Applied Ecology.

I have a wide range of experience, from academic research through to commercial consultancy, and was amongst the first Chartered Ecologists in the UK. The environmental sector is a growing area of employment for graduates.

As a Director of AEL, based in Scotland, I deal with our recruitment, as well as mentoring women across the UK during their pathway to Chartership.  I am more than prepared to be approached for career advice or support.
