Joanna Burgess Gibbs
After a brief stint as a Special Advisor and speech writer immediately after graduation I joined Accenture in 1998 and have spent twenty years there working in both consulting and latterly in Marketing. I specialised in change management and have experience in most sectors, but my focus was Government and Public Sector.
I have experience of operating at Board Level and of managing a pretty diverse team across geographies.
My current role means I have responsibility for managing our business relationships, the creation of our content pipeline and running our very large scale platforms. My particular favourite is International Women's Day - which reminds me of the first one I ever attended at Newnham in 1995.
Outside work I ghost write speeches, drink a little too much wine, and I'm a school governor. I also write short stories but only for my children who are kind enough to let me read them to them.
I am happy to advise on career options, interviews, CVs, and exactly what it feels like to have been in a corporate world for 20 years!
